Russian military arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in joint exercises

Military personnel of the 201st Guards Military Base of the Central Military District have arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in a joint tactical exercise with units of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan and Russia. This was announced on August 11 by the press service of the Central Military District.

The transfer of units to the area of the exercise was carried out in a combined way — by air and road transport. The personnel covered more than 1.2 thousand km on mountain roads. Special equipment was delivered by IL-76 military transport aircraft. Upon arrival, the military personnel began preparing weapons and equipment for practical action.

The Russian contingent will be based on motorized rifle and reconnaissance units, unmanned aerial vehicle attack crews, and Mi-8MTV helicopter crews from the united Russian military base in Kyrgyzstan.

The press service of the Pacific Fleet announced on July 30 that the ships of the Russian Navy and the Indonesian Navy had completed the naval stage of the joint exercise Orruda-2026 in the Sea of Japan. It was noted that during the testing of tasks, the crews of the ships conducted maneuvering and communication training using various types of signaling.
