A resident of Yekaterinburg was arrested after the murder of an ex-roommate in Shadrinsk

A 35-year-old woman was detained in Yekaterinburg on suspicion of murdering a former roommate who left for a neighboring region after breaking up. This is reported by the SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia and the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kurgan region.

The murder occurred on the night of August 6 in the victim's apartment in Shadrinsk, Kurgan region. A drunken 35-year-old Yekaterinburg woman came to a former roommate in a neighboring region, where he returned after breaking up with her, and during an argument she stabbed him several times in the stomach.

According to the Interior Ministry, the 40-year-old man was discovered by his new girlfriend, who also called an ambulance and the police. The wounded man was taken to the hospital, but it was not possible to save the man. He died from his injuries.

The Yekaterinburg woman herself returned to her city after the attack, writes the news agency " <url>". Police officers of the Sverdlovsk region detained her, and colleagues from Shadrinsk arrived and took the woman to the Trans-Urals.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Murder". The woman faces up to 15 years in prison.

On August 5, Izvestia, citing a source, reported that in Moscow, a 31-year-old man killed his wife out of jealousy. The couple returned home from the parents of one of them, the woman tried to hide in the room, but her husband kicked down the door and stabbed her at least five times.
