A resident of the Tula region was charged with the murder of an acquaintance.

In the Tula region, a 48-year-old resident of Shchekinsky district was charged with the murder of an acquaintance. This is reported by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The murder occurred on August 7 near a private house in the village of Ogarevka. The investigation believes that a local resident stabbed her friend in the chest "because of personal hostility."

The man died at the scene. According to TSN24, it is known that the woman was drunk at the time of the attack. During the interrogation, she fully admitted her guilt.

A local resident was charged under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Murder". A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen in her regard.

The investigation of the case is ongoing. All circumstances are being established.

Earlier in August, it was reported that the court of the Trans-Baikal Territory had completed the consideration of a criminal case on the murder of a woman out of jealousy. The jury concluded that the 67-year-old local resident was guilty, who pleaded not guilty and insisted that he had no intention of killing.
