In the Khleven district of the Lipetsk region, three more people suffered from mushroom poisoning. This was reported to GOROD48 by the regional Ministry of Health.

As of the morning of August 10, three more patients were admitted to the emergency medical hospital No. 1 in Lipetsk, where doctors diagnosed mushroom poisoning. All of them are residents of the Khleven district.

There are currently eight patients with this diagnosis in the medical facility. Doctors assess the condition of one of them as serious.

The publication, citing data from three days ago, also writes that two people died during the mushroom season in 2026. The reason was the consumption of pale toadstools. Previous deaths from mushroom poisoning in the region were recorded in 2022.

On July 31, mycologist Maxim Dyakov spoke about the signs of mushroom poisoning, noting that they may not appear immediately. In this case, deaths are most often associated with amatoxins contained in the pale grebe, bordered galerina and some other fungi.
