Sobyanin spoke about the practice of students of Moscow colleges

More than 90,000 college students have completed internships at leading companies in Moscow, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said. Two thirds of undergraduates receive an offer already during their studies, the head of Moscow noted on the channel in Maks.

"Colleges now have 3.8 thousand partners among employers. All are leaders of their industries," Sobyanin wrote.

Students have also interned in industrial complexes, polyclinics and hospitals, schools, construction and transport companies. Currently, 70% of the academic time is spent practicing at Moscow colleges, and 95% of students find work after graduation, the head of Moscow said.

Under the guidance of mentors, students mastered modern equipment and studied the design of technological processes. They also joined in solving real production problems, the mayor emphasized.

Thus, more than 1.5 thousand students of industrial specialties completed internships at the branch of the United Engine Corporation, the ODK-Salyut company. They worked on the machines and checked the quality of the parts. Together with their mentors, the students participated in the assembly of aircraft engines, Sobyanin said.

Over 1.2 thousand future IT specialists have interned in the capital's public services centers. They conducted digital appeals from residents and monitored the operation of information systems and network infrastructure. At Moscow Polytechnic University, students were engaged in industrial engineering and worked with generative neural networks.

Also, more than 1,000 students of the transport industry got acquainted with the profession in the Central Suburban Passenger Company. They learned how to operate rolling stock on the routes of the Moscow Ring Road and the far suburbs. Part of their tasks was related to the analysis of passenger traffic, the mayor noted.

More than 33,000 young professionals graduated from Moscow City colleges in 2026. The number of graduates increased by 10% compared to a year earlier.
