Employees of the Russian Embassy in France have established and are in touch with the relatives of a Russian woman who died in the ski resort of Chamonix. This was announced on August 7 in the department.

"The consular department of the embassy is in contact with the relatives of the deceased Russian woman and is providing all necessary assistance," the diplomatic staff said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The agency's interlocutors noted that the 64-year-old woman's relatives will also be assisted in repatriating her body. An investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
