- Sergeant Pavlov evacuated a wounded man from under the artillery fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Sergeant Roman Pavlov, as part of the evacuation group, was engaged in evacuating the wounded when he received information about the location of a Russian attack aircraft injured during artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Friday, August 7.
Despite the continued enemy artillery fire, Pavlov reached the wounded man and gave him first aid, and then organized an evacuation for further treatment.
The Ministry of Defense also noted the courage of Corporal Dmitry Strakulin, who was delivering provisions to motorized rifle units at the front line when his ATV came under attack by an AFU FPV drone.
Strakulin reacted instantly and with a sharp maneuver brought the transport out from under the impact. Then he took cover and opened fire on the drones, destroying two enemy drones. The delivery of the cargo was completed on time.
On August 6, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense told how Private Egor Lebedev discovered a fortified stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in its capture along with his assault group. On the way, a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces crossed the road to the servicemen, and a shooting battle began. Meanwhile, Lebedev reached the stronghold and used a hand grenade, eliminating the enemy machine-gun emplacement.
