In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 27 people became infected with tick-borne encephalitis

Over the past week, 27 cases of tick-borne encephalitis and 15 cases of borreliosis were registered in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The incidence is increasing despite a decrease in pest activity.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, since the beginning of the season, more than 15.4 thousand people have suffered from tick bites. 280 people, including 26 children, went to the doctors during the week.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists remind citizens of the need to comply with preventive measures when visiting forests and park areas.

In Yakutia, 626 cases of tick bites have been registered since the beginning of the season. 271 people have been vaccinated against encephalitis.
