The wife of Schumacher's nephew Vivien announced her pregnancy.

Vivien Schumacher, the wife of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher's nephew David, announced her pregnancy on August 5.

"Love united us. Now there will be three of us," she wrote on her Instagram account (owned by Meta, a company that is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

The attached photo shows Vivien and David Schumacher hugging on the shore of a lake against the backdrop of mountains.

Schumacher's nephew got married on February 28, 2026. The wedding ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere. Subsequently, the newlyweds staged a photo shoot in a hall with antique marble figures.

The British newspaper Daily Mail reported on January 26 that Michael Schumacher himself was given the opportunity to get out of bed, which he had not left since he received a severe traumatic brain injury in a skiing accident in 2013.
