The wreckage of the drone damaged the tanks of the refinery in Yaroslavl

Debris from Ukrainian drones (UAVs) damaged tanks at an oil refinery in Yaroslavl, and a fire broke out at the facility. This was announced on August 6 by Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region.

"Due to the fallen debris, it got into the tanks of the refinery. The special services are working to eliminate the fire," he wrote on his channel in the Maks messenger.

Four people were also injured in the region as a result of UAV strikes. Two women and a man were hospitalized, while another man did not require medical attention. All four were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds.

In total, the air defense forces shot down 93 UAVs. Evraev called it the largest of all time. Drone debris led to fires in three private homes, damaged several apartment buildings and residents' cars.

At the time of publication, the threat of drone attacks has been lifted in the Yaroslavl Region. The governor thanked the units of the Russian Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies for repelling the attacks.
