Private Lebedev opened the AFU stronghold and participated in its assault

Private Egor Lebedev discovered a fortified stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and participated in its capture along with his assault group. The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Thursday, August 6.

The command, having received information about the location of the enemy stronghold, instructed to outflank the target. However, on the way, a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces crossed the road to the servicemen, and a shooting battle began. Meanwhile, Lebedev reached the stronghold and used a hand grenade. As a result, the enemy's machine-gun crew was destroyed, and the base was captured in a short time.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism of junior Sergeant Tleuzhan Kairimov, who participated in the storming of the stronghold as part of the group.

Kairymov discovered the anchorage and reported it to the command, the assault group moved to the target. The junior sergeant bypassed the stronghold from the flank and entered the enemy's rear, opened fire and eliminated two soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This ensured the safety of the rest of the group, and the support was taken.

On August 5, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense told how Corporal Vitaly Troshev commanded a motorized rifle squad during the assault on the AFU stronghold. During the task, the group was subjected to machine-gun fire. Troshev imperceptibly outflanked the enemy, reached the machine-gun emplacement, used hand grenades and eliminated the AFU position.
