Repair of the Pechora – Vyshgorodok highway in the Pskov region will be completed by October

The Pechory–Kachanovo–Pytalovo–Vyshgorodok highway is scheduled to be repaired in the Pytalovsky district of the Pskov Region by October. This was reported to the Pskov news feed by the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Management.

The work is carried out on the segment from the 95th to the 112th km of the highway. The top layer of asphalt is currently being laid on the 17-kilometer segment, pipes were replaced earlier, the coating was milled and a leveling layer was laid.

The highway is part of the backbone network of the Pskov region, providing transport accessibility for local residents and transit transport. The cost of the work amounted to 435 million rubles, funds were allocated from the federal budget.

It is planned to complete the repair of the highway at the end of September 2026.

Earlier in the summer, it was reported that by the end of the year in Pskov they plan to renovate Parovoznaya Street. The 392-meter-long section from Zheleznodorozhnaya to Machinista Lane is subject to renovation.
