Singer Alla Pugacheva, who broke her leg in a fall a few months ago, underwent a serious hip replacement operation. One of her friends told about it on August 5.

"Alla Borisovna had her hip joint replaced. Of course, Alla was very scared," he said in an interview with kp.ru .

The interlocutor of the online publication explained that the anxiety of the performer was caused by her comparing her situation with the one that Soviet and Russian actress and pop singer Lyudmila Gurchenko suffered at the age of 75. Pugacheva was especially worried that the new joint would not take root and she would not be able to walk.

A close friend of the singer added that she has been experiencing health problems for a long time — in addition to problems with her legs and joints, she was diagnosed with diabetes. Pugacheva is already appearing in public. She often takes a cane with her, which, according to her, betrays her confidence.

Pugacheva herself admitted on July 27 that she had suffered panic attacks after she suffered severe leg injuries. She recalled that she had been immobilized for four months and felt terrible. Then the singer was warned that she could stay in this state for another six months.

On August 4, doctor and blogger Irina Baranova linked Pugacheva's fractures to her taking statins, which are known to have a negative effect on muscle mass. The expert, confirming his words, refers to one of the interviews of the singer, in which she said that she continues to take drugs despite the prohibitions of doctors.
