Sobyanin spoke about the help of Moscow and Muscovites in conducting their own
More than 100 thousand volunteers have gone from Moscow to the special military operation zone during its conduct, and helping fighters on the line of contact is "our common task." This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in an interview with the TASS news agency.
According to the mayor, Moscow is the largest center of the military-industrial defense complex and actively helps soldiers on the front line with logistical means. "In addition, Moscow produces a whole range of medical equipment, pharmaceutical products, and microelectronics, without which it is also impossible to conduct any military operations," Sobyanin said in an interview published on his personal blog.
The mayor also recalled that millions of Muscovites send humanitarian aid to their fighters. In addition, a whole network of hospitals has been deployed in Moscow, which provide assistance not only for residents, but also to everyone sent by the Ministry of Defense — the bill goes to thousands of people.
Moscow also has the largest rehabilitation center for those who need additional treatment. Rehabilitation is a very important area, and "Moscow has always been a leader here," Sobyanin added.
