Liksutov summed up the results of the International Transport Summit in Moscow

The International Transport Summit, which concluded its work in Moscow, was attended by more than 200 foreign delegates from 61 cities, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.

"Geography ranges from Latin America to Southeast Asia. We introduced the guests to our achievements and best practices, and also told them about the Transport Development Strategy that we are implementing under the leadership of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," he said.

The events of the summit were attended by, among others, the mayor of the capital, who presented the projects implemented in the capital's transport complex.

"Foreign partners, in turn, shared their best practices and innovative solutions," Liksutov continued.

According to him, the number of participants in the summit has reached a record this year. As a result, 23 documents were signed. In particular, the Moscow government has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Government of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The parties agreed to cooperate in the development of modern transport, intelligent transport systems and industry.

In addition, four memoranda were signed by subordinate organizations of the Moscow transport complex — SUE Mosgortrans, GKU Data Center and ANO MDTO — with partners from Belarus, the United Arab Emirates and Belgorod.

For the first time, the Arab capital of Lebanon, Beirut, has joined the international UrbanTransportData analytical platform. Since the launch of the platform in 2023, the number of its participants has increased 17-fold.
