In St. Petersburg, two foreign citizens killed their friend, demanding that he return 30,000 rubles. This was reported on August 5 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city.

It was established that the day before, the suspects, being in the apartment of the house on Veterans Avenue in Krasnoselsky district, held their acquaintance, demanding to return the money. At the same time, they beat the victim with their hands and feet in the area of his head and torso, and poured boiling water over him in order to intimidate and suppress his will. The man died from his injuries.

"The Investigative Department for the Krasnoselsky district of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of St. Petersburg has opened a criminal case on the murder of a man (Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Two foreign citizens have been detained on suspicion of committing this crime," the agency's website says.

In the near future, a measure of restraint will be chosen for the attackers.

On August 3, it was reported that a resident of the city of Sunzha in the Republic of Ingushetia suspected a neighbor of witchcraft and shot him, wanting to avenge his brother. According to the investigation, the attacker, along with two friends, entered the neighbor's house on the morning of July 29 and shot him at least three times. A local resident died from his injuries, and the suspects fled in a rented car.
