Oleg Gazmanov's former producer Philip Rossa, accused of fraud, as well as violation of copyright and related rights, pleaded guilty. A source told Izvestia about this on August 5.

The Basmanny Court of Moscow yesterday extended Ross's detention until September. At the same time, Gazmanov, according to his representative, sent a petition asking to release the accused from jail and appoint a milder measure of restraint for him. At the same time, Ross reimbursed the artist for 12 million rubles. It was specified that the total amount is 17.5 million rubles.

According to media reports, Rossa sold Gazmanov's photographs and musical works to third parties, including the rights to songs used in films without his knowledge, thereby causing moral harm and material damage to the artist.

In March, Ross was sent to jail as part of a criminal case on fraud on a particularly large scale. He is charged with a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code ("Fraud on an especially large scale") and part 2 of Article 146 ("Violation of copyright and related rights"). Later, the ex-producer was charged with illegally transferring musical works and images of the artist to third parties without his knowledge.
