The program of the WEF-2026 Sports Games has been published

International tournaments, meetings with football stars, a mass race, a unique swim and other interesting events are included in the program of Sports Games of the Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held on September 1-4 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The WEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"The sports program is one of the bright pages of the Eastern Economic Forum. Sport is not just about competing with others. It is the education of character and fortitude. This is the ability to work for individual results and become a team player, respect for oneself and the opponent, and the ability to achieve victory. Sport is also connected with patriotic education. Once again, the WARRIOR Center, created on behalf of the President of Russia, is deploying an interactive military sports town on Far East Street. Our country is getting stronger with every strong person," said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.

For the tenth time, a five-kilometer race on Russian Island will set the sports pace for the Forum. On September 2, at 06:00, a launch pad will open near the aquarium for WEF participants and residents of Primorsky Krai. You can register for participation in your personal account. For the first time in the framework of the WEF, residents of Vladivostok will be able to meet with football stars. On August 28, Spartak Moscow legends Egor Titov, Dmitry Alenichev and Andrey Tikhonov will hold master classes for young athletes and autograph sessions, and after that they will play in a friendly match with the Dynamo Vladivostok team.

With the support of the Roscongress Foundation's sports platform, the WEF has become a platform for the development of international formats. The international coastal rowing tournament, which will make its debut at the 2028 Olympics, will be held as a city holiday. One of the most spectacular events at the Far East Street exhibition will once again be the International Mas Wrestling Cup.

One of the new events will also be the longest one-day mass ultramarathon race in Russia and Asia. Participants from Russia and China will cover 68 km along the Amur River.

One of the biggest events will be the WEF Anniversary Sail Parade. More than a thousand Russian and foreign yachtsmen and sailors will gather in the waters of the Amur Bay. The guests will see the launches of the Nadezhda and Pallada training sailboats, the Far East Cup international regatta, youth competitions and keel yacht races. The WEF sports program was preceded by the Radio Monte Carlo regatta, which took place on August 1 in Moscow. It combined a spectacular sports component with a discussion about the future of technology and business, a musical evening and an open-air movie screening.

In Vladivostok, Forum participants will be able to compete for the Roscongress Chess Cup and take part in a large-scale program that will combine competitions, an exhibition, lectures and a simultaneous blind game session with one of Russia's leading grandmasters. The Evening League table tennis tournament will unite representatives of business and government.
