More than 2 thousand violations of the removal of construction debris were revealed by data center cameras

In Moscow, since the beginning of the year, the cameras of the Traffic Management Center (TSODD) have revealed more than 2 thousand violations of the rules for the removal of construction debris. Transportation control is carried out using artificial intelligence technologies and neural networks.

220 video cameras monitor compliance with the requirements. The system helps to prevent the appearance of illegal landfills, increase the volume of waste recycling and improve the accounting of data on the transportation of construction debris.

The cameras do not differ in appearance from the usual violation detection systems, but they are equipped with special technical equipment. They are installed on carrier routes on supports at an angle that allows you to analyze the contents of the truck body.

If the system detects construction waste, the information is sent to the automated urban construction waste management system AIS OSSIG. All trucks carrying out garbage collection from the sites must be registered in it.

If the vehicle is not in the system, the camera captures a possible violation. After that, the materials are sent to the Moscow Department of Environmental Management, where a decision is made on bringing to justice and imposing a fine.

"The materials are promptly transferred to the Department of Environmental Management for a decision on fines," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport.

According to him, the introduction of intelligent control systems continues as part of the development of the capital's transport infrastructure and is aimed at improving safety and comfort on urban roads.

Violations on the water are planned to be recorded automatically.

On July 7, the State Duma adopted amendments in the second and third readings that expand the possibility of using photovideofixation complexes for violations. With the help of cameras, violations of the rules in the field of ensuring the safety of navigation on water bodies will be recorded. However, such information must be publicly available.
