Rosstandart urged employers to encourage employees instead of pressure
Rosstandart has approved a new GOST on occupational safety and health management, which recommends that organizations focus on supporting and encouraging employees rather than forcing them to perform tasks. This was reported by RIA Novosti on August 4.
The document will enter into force on February 1, 2027. According to the recommendations of the standard, higher work efficiency can be achieved by involving employees, supporting their initiatives and creating comfortable working conditions.
The guest notes that employers should consult with staff, exchange information with employees, encourage their participation in the development of the organization and explain the meaning of the tasks set.
In addition, companies are encouraged to regularly review their work processes, schedules, and job descriptions. The document states that the so-called machine pace of work and unpredictable schedules should be avoided.
The standard pays special attention to the relationships within the team. Employers are advised to prevent harassment, bullying, social exclusion and manifestations of inequality among employees.
