Musician Georgy Solomatin from Priozersk, who disappeared in Montenegro, was found dead.

Jazz musician Georgy Solomatin from Priozersk, who disappeared in Montenegro at the end of July, has been found dead. This was announced on August 4 by representatives of the search team involved in his search.

"George has been found. He died. We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends," the search group said in a Telegram channel message.

Georgy Solomatin moved to Montenegro with his parents about five years ago. He graduated from the gymnasium in Podgorica and is currently studying music in Austria. During the holidays, the young man returned to the city of Bar, where his family lives.

Later, representatives of the search group reported that Georgy Solomatin was found dead on the territory of the community (opshty) Bar. The causes and circumstances of his death have not been officially disclosed.

Solomatin went out for a walk on July 31 and stopped contacting us. After his disappearance, a large-scale search was organized, in which about 300 people took part, including local residents, volunteers, representatives of the Russian-speaking community and emergency services personnel. Prior to that, the musician's mother had reported that she was in St. Petersburg at the time of her disappearance, where she had flown in for a planned operation. She expressed the hope that her son could stay with friends.
