Oleg Gazmanov's former producer Philip Rossa, accused of fraud, as well as violation of copyright and related rights, reimbursed the artist for 12 million rubles. This was reported on August 4 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

During the hearing to consider the investigation's request for an extension of the preventive measure, Rosse's lawyer said that his client was compensating for the damage. It was specified that the total amount is 17.5 million rubles.

Gazmanov's representative in court confirmed this information. He sold Gazmanov's photographs and musical works to third parties, including the rights to songs used in films without his knowledge, thereby causing moral harm and material damage to the artist.

In March, Ross was sent to jail as part of a criminal case on fraud on a particularly large scale. He was charged with a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code ("Fraud on an especially large scale") and part 2 of Article 146 ("Violation of copyright and related rights").

Later, Ross was charged with illegally transferring musical works and images of the artist to third parties without his knowledge. The Basmanny District Court extended Rosse's arrest until August 5.
