One of the victims of the AFU drone attack on Volgograd has died.

In Volgograd, one of the eight victims died as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the night of July 31. This was announced on August 4 by the regional health committee.

It is noted that the doctors took all necessary measures, but the injuries were too serious.

"One person who was in intensive care, despite the efforts of doctors, died. He received injuries incompatible with life," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

It is specified that the second victim, who was in intensive care, continues treatment. Doctors said that his state of health is assessed as moderate.

The damage to the glazing in eight apartment buildings in Volgograd as a result of a massive attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine became known on the morning of July 31. A temporary accommodation facility at School No. 1 was opened for residents during the work of the operational services.

The governor of the region, Andrei Bocharov, said that during the analysis of the rubble of an apartment building after an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the body of a deceased woman was found. He added that eight victims were hospitalized, two of them in serious condition.
