In Montenegro, the search continues for 21-year-old jazz musician Georgy Solomatin from Priozersk, the young man disappeared in the city of Bar, where he lived with his parents. His mother Victoria told Izvestia about this on August 4.

According to her, the disappearance of her son does not look like his usual behavior, so not only law enforcement officers, but also volunteers joined the search.

"I'm in Russia right now, I was undergoing surgery, so my husband and everyone else, the police are there [searching]. We moved to live in Montenegro. He's still studying, he's a student. It's not typical for him to disappear, so everyone got involved actively," said the missing man's mother.

According to the woman, about 300 people are involved in the search, including volunteers from among local residents and foreigners living in Montenegro. Emergency services personnel are also involved in the operation.

The musician's mother plans to return to Montenegro in the near future. According to her, different versions of the disappearance are currently being considered, but she does not consider the criminal version to be the most likely one.

"I think he just went somewhere with friends. <...> This version is more likely to me," because otherwise there would already be some traces," Solomatina noted.
