The shortage of donated organs remains one of the main problems of transplantation, so doctors use artificial heart support systems that help improve the condition of patients and prepare them for transplantation. This was announced on August 4 by Dmitry Ryabtsev, Head of the Cardiac Surgery Department of the Academician V. I.
