In July, 11 new car models were registered in Russia for the first time.

In July of this year, 11 new models, including six trucks, were recorded in the statistics of new car registration in Russia. The analytical agency Autostat reported this on August 4.

Among the passenger car models that were included in the statistics for the first time, there were only representatives of the SUV segment. These are the Esteo MX, electric GAC Hyptec HT and Hyundai Ioniq 9, hybrid crossovers iCaur V27 and Geely Galaxy M7, as well as the subcompact crossover Mitsubishi Xforce.

Among them, Esteo MX and GAC Hyptec HT are officially present on the Russian market. The iCaur V27 crossover is presented under the Russian brand Esteo.

Among light commercial vehicles (LCVs), the Kaliningrad-built Ambertruck JL truck appeared in the statistics for the first time in the middle of summer. The Sova 55 electric medium-duty truck (gross weight 5.5 tons), an upgraded Valdai 45 Pro main tractor and two XCMG truck cranes (XCA160-S and XCT50 models) have been added to the truck range.
