The expert named the main rules for creating a comfortable room for a student

A future student's room is not just a place to sleep and store things, but a space that influences the formation of habits, concentration and the child's attitude to learning. The comfort and effectiveness of classes depend on how well this area is organized. Veronika Antelava, head of the department for work with designers and architects at Mr.DOORS Furniture Studio, told Izvestia on August 6 what principles should be taken into account when preparing a room for the start of school life.

According to the expert, one of the common mistakes of parents is to design the interior "to grow on the contrary" — taking into account only the current age of the child. Bright cartoon wallpaper, themed decor, and children's furniture can quickly lose relevance as the child gets older.

"A more practical solution would be to create a neutral framework that is easy to change over time. To do this, you can choose calm shades of walls, functional furniture of simple shapes and removable decorative elements — textiles, posters and accessories," explained Antelava.

Special attention should be paid to lighting. It is advisable to provide several light sources in the student's room: general soft lighting, a desk lamp for classes and additional light near the bed. It is better to place the workplace next to the window so that the child can use natural lighting. It is important to take into account the position of the writing hand: the light should not create a shadow during classes.

The organization of the training area also requires a careful approach, the expert added. The table should be spacious enough to accommodate textbooks, notebooks, and computer equipment. It is better to choose a height-adjustable chair, taking into account the peculiarities of children's posture.

According to Antelava, a student's room should not only be functional, but also reflect the interests of the child, helping him to feel confident in a new stage of life.

On August 4, Roskachestvo experts said that when choosing a school uniform, parents should take into account the composition of the fabric, the quality of the seams, the rules of care and the availability of complete information on the label. In the composition of the upper fabric, the proportion of natural fibers should be at least 45%, and synthetic fibers should not exceed 55%.
