The WEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The session will discuss the transition to deep industrial and technological cooperation. Alexey Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, noted that the investment opportunities of the Russian Far East and the Arctic are limitless.

"We are interested in attracting partners from China to jointly develop projects in various industries. All necessary conditions have been created for the further expansion of Russian-Chinese cooperation, including a new cross-border infrastructure. By the decision of the President of Russia, in order to accelerate the development of the Far East and attract foreign investment, a special preferential regime was created – the international territory of advanced development. In this mode, the best conditions for investors available in Russia will apply," Alexey Chekunkov said.

More than 100 representatives of federal and regional authorities, business and the expert community are expected to participate in the event. The program will also include B2B negotiations between representatives of Russian and Chinese businesses.
