The authorities of the Leningrad region have set up an operational headquarters to eliminate the consequences of an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a Wildberries warehouse in the village of Krasny Bor. This was announced on August 4 by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko.
"The attack was carried out by the enemy at a civilian facility, the warehouses of the united Wildberries and Russ companies. An operational headquarters has been set up," Drozdenko wrote on the Maks channel.
He noted that the strike of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hit a warehouse area in the Tosnensky district. After the attack, the complex caught fire. The forces and means of the Leningrad Fire Rescue and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Leningrad region are involved in extinguishing the fire.
A fire broke out at the Wildberries logistics facility in the Leningrad Region on the same day after the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones. Employees were evacuated at the facility prior to the incident. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. Fire brigades are working at the site.
Also on August 3, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked the Wildberries logistics center in the Vladimir region, and a fire broke out at the facility. All the people on the territory were evacuated. The number of injured increased to four people. Wildberries confirmed the attack and stated that the logistics chains have been rebuilt. The fire was later extinguished.
