Brazilian UFC fighter Allan Nascimento died at the age of 35.

Mixed-style athlete Allan Nascimento passed away at the age of 34 due to a heart attack that occurred in his sleep. This was announced on Monday, August 3, by the press service of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC).

The athlete's body was found on the morning of August 3. The medical team that arrived at the scene could not resuscitate the Brazilian and pronounced him dead at the age of 35. The exact causes of the incident will be announced after the autopsy.

Nascimento competed in the lightest weight class and held a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. During his career in MMA, which began in 2014, he won 22 victories, 15 of which were obtained by painful and suffocating techniques, and suffered seven defeats, Sport-Express clarifies.

The fighter made his UFC debut in October 2021 in a duel against Russian Tagir Ulanbekov, to whom he lost by split decision. In total, he fought six fights as part of the promotion, winning four of them and receiving two bonuses for the "Performance of the Evening". Previously, the athlete represented the RIZIN and Legacy FC leagues, and trained at the Chute Boxe gym with former champion Charles Oliveira.
