Ukrainians, in order to avoid mobilization, continue to attempt to illegally leave the country, one of the options — escape through Moldova — costs from $ 5 thousand. Alexander Borshchuk, a prisoner of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), told about this on August 4.

According to him, even though people will collect the required amount, no one gives them guarantees of successful crossing of the Ukrainian border.

"[From Ukraine] they are fleeing through Moldova. Prices vary, from $5,000 and above. They only take you [to the Ukrainian border], and then how lucky you are," TASS quoted him as saying.

The assault regiment counted 26 dead recruits.

On June 30, Georgy Rusnak, a captured militant of the 107th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told how in the Cherkasy region 10 out of 60 mobilized citizens escaped from a bus into which they were loaded by employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the Ukrainian equivalent of the military enlistment office).
