Seismologists have registered a tremor in the territory of Buryatia. Its magnitude was 4.7.

The tremors were reported at 9:57 a.m. local time. According to the UlanMedia news agency, the epicenter was located 6 km from the village of Tankhoi.

The earthquake was felt in Irkutsk. No damage was recorded, there were no casualties.

Earlier in the day, an earthquake struck 111 km from the city of Port Said in Egypt. The source was located at a depth of 10 km. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.2.
