The new Evolute i-Sky crossover will be available at dealers in September.
The second-generation electric crossover Evolute i-Sky is scheduled to arrive at dealers in Russia in September. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel.
The company Evolve, which produces electric cars and hybrids in the Lipetsk region, announced the launch of a new crossover i-Sky back in May this year. In the brand's lineup, this SUV will take its place between the compact urban crossover i-Joy and the flagship hybrid i-Space.
The Evolve i-Sky is powered by a 218 hp (310 Nm) engine that accelerates the crossover from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. A liquid-cooled lithium-iron-phosphate traction battery with a capacity of 62 kWh allows you to travel up to 424 km without recharging. The fast charging time from 30 to 80% is 28 minutes. The length of the car is 4685 mm, and the wheelbase is 2775 mm.
The head of Autostat shared that the first-generation Evolute i-Sky sold only 544 copies. At the same time, sales of the Evolute i-Pro sedan amounted to 3.3 thousand units, and i-Joy — 2.7 thousand units (excluding data for July). He also said that fresh deliveries to Evolve i-Joy dealers will begin in August.
On July 28, production of the all-wheel drive version of the Jeland J6 full-cycle crossover started at the AGR holding plant in Shushary, St. Petersburg. The car is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo engine (150 hp; 275 Nm) paired with a seven-speed preselective robotic transmission with two wet clutches. The all-wheel drive system provides six driving modes.
