In Primorye, the stepdaughter beat the widow of a WWII veteran because of housing disputes

In the seaside town of Artyom, the stepdaughter of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) beat his widow because of a conflict over a share in real estate worth 1.5 million rubles, a source told Izvestia on August 3.

The veteran's daughter demanded that she sell the house or pay the specified amount. When the owner of the apartment refused, the lady lost her temper and attacked her with her fists. According to relatives, the victim, Alla Vladimirovna, lost consciousness, and when she regained consciousness, she heard death threats against her. An elderly woman was hospitalized, and the police began checking.

As the victim told Izvestia in a comment, the woman who attacked her was the daughter of her husband, who died 13 years ago. She has not been in touch with her father's widow for a long time, so her appearance was unexpected.

"That day, I was sitting near the window, eating, and I saw a woman on the street. She went into the house, stood in front of the table and asked, "Do you recognize it?" the pensioner shared.

She did not recognize her stepdaughter immediately, but when she realized that it was her husband's daughter, she immediately began to set conditions. She demanded to sell the house and give her her share, and if she refused, she threatened to evict her to the street. The pensioner noted that the stepdaughter screamed for a long time, and then hit the woman. She hit her head against the wall and lost consciousness. When she woke up, she received another blow.

The woman was admitted to the hospital. According to her niece, Svetlana Shitikova, after her aunt's hospitalization, she and her husband came to check the house. I saw the same woman in the yard and decided to pretend that they were just passing by. She started the conversation first, introducing herself as the daughter of Alla Vladimirovna's late husband.

"He says, 'I want to get into the house to see if all the bills have been paid or not. I've already found buyers. Since Alla Vladimirovna does not want to sell the house, I will do it myself," said the niece.

The woman noted that a new lock had already appeared on the doors. Alla Vladimirovna herself should be discharged from the hospital in the coming days. The regional Prosecutor's Office has organized an investigation into the incident.
