The Iranian Foreign Ministry pointed to the premeditation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the ship in the Caspian Sea

Tehran has evidence that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deliberately attacked an Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea, despite statements by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to the contrary. This was announced on August 3 by the representative of the department Ismail Bagai.

"In the contacts that we conducted both directly with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and through the messages transmitted to us, they (Ukrainians. — Ed.) insisted that this action was unintentional.
