A criminal case has been opened in the Moscow Region after an attack on two men in Solnechnogorsk, which killed a 44-year-old local resident. This was reported on August 3 in the Main Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Investigators, together with criminologists, inspect the scene, interrogate witnesses and prepare for the appointment of forensic examinations. A set of investigative actions and operational search measures aimed at identifying and detaining the suspect is also being carried out.
As the Izvestia source added, all the participants in the conflict were familiar with each other and had been drinking alcohol near the entrance shortly before the attack. During the quarrel, the man was taken home, but he changed his clothes, took a knife and returned.
