A man died as a result of an attack by an unknown man with a knife in the Moscow region.

An unknown man armed with a knife attacked two passers—by in the Moscow region, killing a man, a source told Izvestia on August 3.

The incident occurred in the city of Solnechnogorsk on Staroandreevskaya Street. The attacker wounded a 44-year-old man, who died on the spot from his injuries.

The second victim, a 48-year-old man, was hospitalized with cuts to his shoulder and forearm. According to the victim, they were attacked by an unknown man with a knife, dressed in a camouflage uniform. The attacker has disappeared, and the police are looking for him.
