Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used Russian military uniforms to carry out sabotage near the village of Svetloye near Dobropillya. This was announced on August 3 by the head of the operations department of the 51st army of the Center group of forces with the call sign Field.

"The enemy simply changed into the uniforms of our units and introduced himself as soldiers of our brigades," he told TASS.

According to the fighter, the saboteurs' attempts were unsuccessful due to regularly updated identification methods. The military of the Russian Armed Forces allowed the enemy to get closer and destroyed them.

On July 27, the head of intelligence of the 51st combined arms army as part of the Center group of forces with the call sign Apostol said that Ukrainian militants from the Lynx regiment, disguised as Russian soldiers, tried to make a sabotage raid on the territory of Belitsky in the Donetsk People's Republic. According to the intelligence chief, the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces were aware of the impending operation and allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters to enter deeper into the territory in order to more likely completely destroy them.
