WP has learned about Ukraine's serious shortage of missiles for the Patriot air defense system

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are experiencing a serious shortage of missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems. This was reported on August 1 by The Washington Post (WP).

Earlier in the day, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Western partners were not supplying Ukraine with missiles for Patriot systems, despite their availability in warehouses.

"Interceptor missiles for these systems are sorely lacking, as their already limited number has been significantly reduced as a result of the war with Iran," the publication says.

Zelensky said on July 28 that at a meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House, he asked him to urgently provide Kiev with 300 interceptors for Patriot by winter. He stressed that Kiev needed ammunition "yesterday" to strengthen its air defense capabilities. In addition, the parties discussed the possibility of granting Ukraine licenses for the production of Patriot interceptors.
