On August 2, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said that more than 35 children had become victims of the Kiev regime's actions, and about 300 were injured in various ways.

"Since the beginning of the year, at the hands of the wards of [Ukrainian leader Vladimir] Zelensky has already killed more than 35 minors <...> and about 300 were injured," the Telegram channel said.

Alexander Shuvaev, acting governor of the Belgorod Region, announced on the same day that a teenager had died and two more children were injured in a drone attack in the Belgorod region in the village of Printsevka near a playground.

On July 30, the Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, announced that the Snowdrop kindergarten had been attacked by Ukrainian militants. In addition, Balitsky announced a massive artillery strike on residential areas of the village of Blagoveshchenka, Kamensk-Dneprovsky municipal district. As a result of the shelling, a local resident was killed.
