Footage of the aftermath of the explosion in a restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square has been published

The territory of the Balzi Rossi restaurant in Moscow, where an explosion occurred the night before, was struck by striking elements. Footage of the aftermath of the incident on August 2 was shown by Izvestia correspondent Alexander Safiulin.

The curtains of the restaurant's summer veranda are torn to shreds, and there are also visible chips and potholes on the columns. Presumably, the epicenter of the explosion was here.

"Everything suggests that the epicenter was approximately somewhere in this area. The veranda is a mess, a mess," Safiulin explained.

He added that at the moment all investigative actions have already been completed. People can safely pass by, the area is not cordoned off.

On the evening of August 1, an explosion occurred at the Balzi Rossi restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square. As a result, three people died. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee clarified that an unknown woman tried to enter the institution with an improvised explosive device — she is suspected of committing a terrorist act. Together with her, a security guard who did not let a woman into the restaurant and one of the guests Balzi Rossi were killed in the explosion. The staff urgently evacuated the visitors. Another 21 people were injured. According to eyewitnesses, a wedding was taking place in the restaurant.
