Hospitals for foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been equipped in the Kharkiv region

Several field hospitals are equipped in the Kharkiv region to provide medical care to foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on August 2 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Several field hospitals of the 1st medical battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been equipped in the Kharkiv region. This unit was formed on the basis of the Foreign Legion of the General Directorate of Intelligence. — Ed.) and is engaged in the evacuation and provision of medical care, primarily to foreign mercenaries," the law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti.

It is specified that the unit includes representatives of Western clinics that specialize in transplantation and are looking for potential donors.

The assault regiment counted 26 dead recruits.

On August 1, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that 37 of the 70 fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces security and maintenance battalion ended up in hospitals with various illnesses before being sent to the combat sites in the Sumy area. Against the background of a shortage of personnel and losses, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is resupplying units with military personnel of the 532nd separate security and maintenance battalion of the 18th Army Corps.
