Slovenian president got into an accident on her way back from vacation in Croatia

Slovenian President Natasha Pirc-Musar was involved in an accident while returning from a vacation in Croatia. This was reported on the Slovenian Radio and Television website on August 1, with reference to the presidential Office and the police.

"President Natasha Pirts-Musar is currently undergoing home treatment after a traffic accident on Friday and is feeling well," the publication says.

It is specified that two escort vehicles moving in a convoy were involved in the accident. The accident occurred in the Kasteletsky tunnel on the Primorsky Highway, Pirts-Musar suffered minor injuries and spent the night in the Izola Central Hospital.

The President thanked the emergency services and hospital staff for their help. The Specialized State Prosecutor's Office has been notified about the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.

In Algeria, on July 31, at least 25 people died and 44 others were injured when a bus crashed into a ravine. The wounded were evacuated to the nearest hospitals. Prime Minister Sifi Grib arrived at the Boumerdes University Hospital, where some of the injured were taken.
