Actor Vincent Pastore, known for his role as Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero in the cult TV series The Sopranos, has died at the age of 81. This was reported on August 1 by Page Six, citing sources.

According to the newspaper, the Pastor was found dead on Saturday at his home in the City Island area of the Bronx. It is reported that the actor had not been in touch for three days before. The circumstances of the death are being investigated.

"I had the honor of representing Vinnie for over 30 years, even before The Sopranos made him famous throughout the country. For the world, he will forever remain an unforgettable "Big Pussy," but for those who knew him, he was much more," said Robert Attermann, the actor's manager, in an interview with Page Six.

The manager also called Pastore one of the kindest and most generous people he knew. He noted that the actor never denied fans photos and autographs, treated fans warmly and always supported his young colleagues.

In addition, Pastore was passionate about his craft, treated his young colleagues with respect and generosity, always finding time for advice and support.

"I will miss his friendship, his loyalty, his sense of humor and his heart. <...> He leaves a legacy that goes far beyond his memorable roles," added Uttermann.

Pastore also played in the films "Nice Guys", "Awakening", "Diary of a Basketball player" and others.
