In 25 regions of Russia, the average salary in May exceeded 100,000 rubles, while Chukotka took the first place in terms of wages. This follows from the statistics, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti on August 2.

The highest average income from work in May was recorded in Chukotka — 260.7 thousand rubles per month. Next in the ranking were the Magadan Region with an indicator of 214.5 thousand rubles and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug with 205.4 thousand rubles.
