On August 1, businessman Viktor Bout admitted that American Senator Lindsey Graham (listed as an extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring) could have been deliberately poisoned after his trip to Ukraine.

"My sources, for example, report that the Ukrainians poisoned him on purpose," he said in an interview with kp.ru .

According to Booth, the Ukrainians deliberately poisoned Graham. The businessman noted that the reason for the visit of the head of the Kiev regime to Washington was the funeral of the senator. He stressed that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with American leader Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and also delivered a speech before the US Senate voted on sanctions against Russia.

Graham died on July 12 at the age of 71. The official cause of death was complications of cardiovascular disease. The senator was the author of the bill on the introduction of duties against importers of oil and gas from Russia.

On July 28, the majority of US senators supported the bill on sanctions against Russia, the main legacy of the late Graham, during a preliminary vote. 86 legislators voted for the initiative. The document on tightening sanctions against Russia gives Trump the right to impose 100 percent duties on imports from the five largest countries — buyers of Russian oil. At the same time, Graham's sister Darlene, who took the post of senator instead of her deceased brother, did not participate in the vote.
