The air defense forces shot down more than 20 Ukrainian drones over the Rostov region overnight.

The Air Defense forces intercepted more than 20 Ukrainian drones over Taganrog and four districts of the Rostov Region overnight. This was announced on August 1 by Governor Yuri Slyusar.

"More than two dozen UAVs were destroyed in the city of Taganrog and four districts of the region: Neklinovsky, Myasnikovsky, Verkhnedonsky, Matveevo-Kurgan," the Telegram channel says.

The governor reported no casualties or damage on the ground.

The new units will cover the rear in the special operation zone.

The air defense forces intercepted four drones over the Tula region that night. It was clarified that there were no casualties or damage.
