Ukraine's strikes on Wildberries' infrastructure pose a direct threat to hundreds of millions of citizens in 10 countries at the same time. Tatiana Kim, the founder and CEO of the marketplace, announced this on July 31..

"Wildberries is a popular marketplace used by every inhabitant of our country and other countries too. Therefore, attacks on us are attacks on hundreds of millions of people in 10 countries at the same time — our employees, our sellers, manufacturers, logisticians, PVZ owners, thousands of other entrepreneurs, performers and buyers, among whom there are socially vulnerable people," she said.

Kim stressed that tens of thousands of entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and China are actively doing business in the company's ecosystem, which has already suffered billions of dollars in losses due to attacks on logistics centers. According to Kim, the warehouses are equipped with all available engineering means of protection, and security systems are being upgraded daily, which makes it possible to successfully repel most of the attacks in conditions when attackers are constantly increasing their firepower — for example, more than 200 aircraft-type drones flew to the facility in Yekaterinburg alone.

The head added that since 2024, the warehouses have been completely rebuilt according to fire safety standards, the facilities have their own fire brigades and modern extinguishing systems, and control over the protection of people and the localization of fires is carried out by a specialized service led by a former employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with more than 26 years of experience.

Kim emphasized that the attackers' accusations of selling military goods are just an attempt to cover up their true motives, since the platform's assortment is completely identical to any other global marketplaces. She pointed out the lack of logic in the actions of the enemy, whose public statements directly confirm the targeting of attacks on ordinary Russian citizens in order to cause panic, shock and destabilize the situation.

The head of Wildberries called on the business community to keep cool, adapt and implement a business restructuring plan for the near future, stressing that the current situation has brought together partners and customers, and the company will do everything possible to support small and medium-sized businesses.

On July 30, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, at a meeting of the subcommittee on improving the sustainability of the financial sector and individual sectors of the economy, whose key issue was prompt assistance to Wildberries' sales partners, instructed to work out measures to support entrepreneurs affected by attacks on logistics complexes.

On July 29, the Wildberries press service reported that the company's logistics facility in Ryazan had been evacuated. On that day, the governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, reported a fire on the territory of one of the region's enterprises as a result of a massive attack by enemy drones. Later, the press service added that the Ryazan marketplace warehouse was temporarily not accepting supplies, and the goods that were stored at the facility were temporarily withdrawn from sale.

The head of Wildberries, Tatiana Kim, promised on July 22 that small entrepreneurs whose goods were damaged in the attack on the warehouse in Elektrostal on July 18 would receive the first payments. The measure should cover about 88 thousand people. Kim called the safety of people the company's priority, adding that the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed the coherence of the operational services.
