The massive influx of migrants from Morocco is a real attack, which can even be compared to the violation of the territorial unity of Spain. This was announced on July 31 by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom, Pedro Sanchez.

"An attack, a violation of the territorial integrity of Spain," he said during his speech, which was broadcast on the government's page on the social network X (former. Twitter).

Sanchez is currently in the city where the incident was recorded. There, as explained, he controls the measures taken by the authorities to resolve and normalize the situation.

The day before, a massive influx of migrants from Morocco was recorded in Ceuta, after Spain closed the only crossing in the city of Melilla, which operated on the border with this country. People wanted to reach the shores of the kingdom by swimming, using inflatable circles and rafts, which caused at least 18 people to drown.

The situation has seriously concerned European countries, against which Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni proposed temporarily halting the current Schengen agreement with Spain. This initiative found support even in Finland, whose Foreign Minister, Marie Rantanen, accused Madrid of failing to fulfill its duties to protect the external border.
