Director Bortko declared indifference to the accusations from the SBU against him.

Russian film director Vladimir Bortko said in an interview on July 31 that accusing the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in absentia of justifying Russia's actions worries him "like last year's snow."

"It worries me like last year's snow," he told TASS.

Currently, the Russian director is charged with two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine is conducting the pre-trial investigation.

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko said yesterday that the authorities had filed charges in absentia against Russian film director, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Bortko. Bortko was accused of promoting the Russian Military Special Operation (SVO). The most famous works of the director are the comedy "The Blonde around the Corner" (1982), the film adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov's novella "The Heart of a Dog" (1988), "Afghan Fracture" (1991).
